Quick facts:

  • Kat and Peter were inspired to make their own vermouth while working together at restaurants in Washington, DC.
  • Kat makes the vermouths by hand in small batches at Rosemont Winery in Virginia.
  • Unlike for many mass-produced vermouths, the quality of the base wine, sourced from the Santa Barbara AVA, is a key consideration.
  • Their distinctive blend of a dozen-plus botanicals includes artichoke, rhubarb, and juniper for the dry vermouth; Seville orange peel, nutmeg, and clove for the rosé vermouth; and Meyer lemon, saffron, and Persian rose for the white vermouth.
